Training Courses

We offer training courses for instrument operating staff, and for engineering design staff, on your own site. Courses can be tailored to your own specific requirements, but we normally prefer to restrict the number of delegates to ensure that each trainee gets adequate 'hands on' experience of hardware and software.

Whatever the level of the training, we always include some elements of basic metrology. It often surprises us - and also our trainees- how small misconceptions about quite fundamental principles can become firmly established as part of the measuring 'lore'. In recent years, there have also been some quite significant changes in international standards, and we believe it is important to discuss these changes and show how they affect practical measurements.

Training can unlock the hidden potential of expensive equipment, and help to develop the latent skills of valuable staff. We know it can also stimulate an interest in the measurement process itself, leading to improved job satisfaction and increased productivity.
